Terry-Ann Frencken born in 1978, is originally Dutch studied architecture in Torino (Italy) in the late 90's at the Politecnico di Torino. From 1999-2002 she created decors and graphic designs for large events and eventually got involved in music production. In 2002 she started her work as dj and electronic music producer with the international project UND (traumschallplatten.ch) . In 2003 she started to produce her first video material based on elaboration of photo frames and object animation. Since 2005 she works and lives between Torino and Zurich developing her artistic profile in music and video production for Dachkantine and Dekadance Zurich and for the open broadcast platform Digris.
Her graphic design style goes back to the old way of layering objects that have no sense to be put together. It's purely the aesthetic impact that counts and there are no explanations linked to it. The graphic is ready when the eye finds an aesthetic balance and harmony in the work.
